Lush & AllOut Happy Hour

To celebrate our #GayIsOk Campaign, Lush Cosmetics and All Out hosted a summertime happy hour atop the James Hotel in the chic SoHo district of NYC. For 2 hours press, influencers and fellow LGBTQ advocates came together to celebrate and learn about our newly launched campaign. All Out’s Co-Founder and Executive Director Andre Banks spoke to our audience of 80+ guests about the great strides we’ve made in contributing to equalizing gay rights across the globe, while special guest Richard Lusimbo—Research Manager, Sexual Minorities, Uganda and fellow LGBTQ activist, spoke about his personal journey as a proud gay man living in Uganda. Needless to say, these two heart-felt and powerful speeches reinforced the need for support from the community when it comes to LGBTQ equality around the world. Guests may have come ready for a happy hour but they left with so much more. Inspiration, hope and a call to action to continue to tell the world why #GayIsOk.
